 Hi!

I'm Destiny.

I grew up riding and training horses,. As I had always had a way for communicating with horses,  and using natural horsemanship style methods, this translated into dogs and dog training.

I began my professional career studying education in University. The idea of teaching tiny humans grew less interesting, and my passion for dogs grew exponentially. I now use the material studied in University to teach dogs, and to teach their humans how to speak dog.

I began to deepen my knowledge by graduating with highest honours from ICS Canada's Dog Training and Obedience diploma. From there, I began shadowing other dog trainers, far and wide.

I began my dog training business in 2021, it was only in 2023 when I began to follow this journey full time, and felt comfortable in my skills to be successful with more challenging dogs.

I volunteered full time in dog rescue for 2 full years, learning a lot about the behavior of street, shelter & foster dogs. I worked with some challenging dogs, some with a long list of bite histories.

Fast forward to now, I am a member of the CAPDT as well as the Pet Professional Guild.  I have completed the 'Pro Dog Trainer' course through Absolute Dogs.  I am working on finishing  the Canine Behavior Science & Technology (Dip. CBST) program through the Companion Animal Sciences Institute.
